The hard-working display team for this year is comprised of, back row from left to right: Viv with Ghillie, Hannah with Meg, Charles with Bertie,Judith with Shep, Jean with Sandy Jackie Lauren and Shirl with Bailey and Easter, Matthew with Jack, Berly with Tess and Duncan with Bitza. Front row is James with Fergus Sandra with Haggis, Elaine with Cassie, Catherine with Millie Steve with Ruby and Tina with Jake
The display is comprised of music routines and other performances which are all based on basic training skills which are presented in an entertaining format and involve help from children in the audiences. The crowds are mystified by the secret of the Magic Box and at the climax of the display the dogs run over the cat walk through flaming hoops. Some of these dogs are rescued dogs. Jack was hand-reared by Matthew and his parents from being abandoned at only a few days old. Easter was left alone when her owner died , Haggis was abandoned by a farmer during the foot and mouth, and Cofe - Caught on Friday Night - was taken in by Jean & Jim when he was found roaming and lost. Their owners have worked with love and dedication to produce wonderful pets with happy lives.
