Puppy Obedience Classes in Cheshire
Jackie & Shirl started Allsorts Dog Training Club in 1995 as a direct result of their own experiences with their rescue Rottweiler/Collie cross, Barney. Barney was always special, but had had a very poor start in life before Jackie & Shirl recued him. They were his last chance. They worked hard with him, and, more importantly, loved him. He became a wonderfully obedient dog, also good at agility, who helped to raise thousands of pounds for charity at his training club.
After intensive training with the British Institute of Professional Dog Training, Jackie & Shirl became qualified instructors and the Club is registered with the Institute. Both Jackie and Shirl love all dogs and know from experience that problems generally arise from how dogs are treated by humans and not from the dog itself.
Because of their experiences with their own dogs (they have owned several rescues with a wide range of problems), they have acquired a deep understanding of behavioural problems caused by cruelty and bad starts in life and have developed effective ways to help owners to help their dogs.

Puppy Trainer for You
Their skill and experience has expanded over the years with the result that they have dealt with most problems which can occur. What seems a major problem to owners can often be dealt with successfully by using correct training methods. The precision dog handling seen at Crufts is only practise and expertise in the basic training methods routinely used in basic puppy classes.
They lost Barney several years ago and Boris just over a year ago, but both are still very much remembered.
The now have Bailey, a Leonberger, who is 8 and whose best friend is the adopted cat. A new addition to the family is Easter, an 121/2 year old Leo who they rehomed when she was 8 . Bailey is the team mascot and takes part in all displays, often handled by Shirl's grandaughter, 11 year old Lauren, when Jackie is otherwise occupied. Lauren will also be in charge of Easter, so she will be kept busy.
